Junior Programs
Supported by the Can Squash Grant
The Chilliwack Squash Club was selected as a pilot program for the CanSquash Development Program. All participants will receive a SquashBC membership, a CanSquash shirt and help develop a Canada wide squash curriculum. With the support of the development grant we can reduce the registration fees for this session as well.

Co-Ed Introduction To Squash

March 30th – May 11th
Monday 3:30-4:30pm
$45 / 7 weeks
No prior experience needed. In this group players will acquire the basic skills of the sport while having lots of fun on the squash court. We will be building skills toward the goal of rallying with a partner. Forehand and Backhand swings plus serving will be covered through a variety of games and drills. Recommended ages 7-9yrs. All squash equipment is provided.
Girls Only

Girls Only Intro to Squash
April 1st to May 20th
Wednesday 3:30-4:30
$50 / 8 weeks
Girls Only Next Steps
April 1st May 20th
Wednesday 4:30-5:30.
$50 / 8 weeks
These classes are a girl only option of the Intro to Squash or Next Steps programs. All squash equipment is provided.
Co-Ed Next Steps

April 2nd – May 21
Thursday 3:30-4:30
$50 / 8 weeks
This program is still fun focused and is for our players that can rally on the squash court and are looking to take their game to the next level. We will be expanding on how to execute the basic shots and learning new shots like the volley and drop. Recommended age 8-12yrs. Prior squash experience recommended for ages 7-9. All squash equipment is provided.
Junior Development

March 30th – May 11th
Monday 4:30-5:45pm
$80 / 7 weeks
Players in this class are looking to start playing in organized events. The class will explore shot making, tactics and will teach athletes how to train for success. Topics will include movement and conditioning, attacking and defensive shots and lots of opportunities for gameplay.
Junior Squash League

April 2nd – May 21
Thursday 4:30-6:00pm
$75 / 8 weeks
The junior squash league is a chance for players to participate in structured matches on a weekly basis. Each week players will play two to three mini matches against other participants. Prizes will be awarded for participation, most improved and sportsmanship at the end of the league.
